Design philosophy
Celia Falkenberg Architects is an architectural practice which specializes in creating beautiful, eco-friendly homes. The practice was established in 2003 and has worked on a wide range of projects including bush lodges in Mpumalanga, seaside holiday homes, Heritage homes, family homes, penthouse apartments and experimental, sustainable low-cost housing.
We design homes that are finely tuned to the particular needs and lifestyles of our clients. We create unique homes that are responsive to the particular conditions of each site with careful attention to the sun’s path, the wind’s direction and other resources distinctive to each site. Our aim is to attentively listen to our clients’ needs and vision for their home and transform these ideas into beautiful designs for sustainable living.
